Progressive and safe reopening of schools

On June 1, 2020, after several weeks of lockdown, students from Saint Kisito d’Ekangté School in Nkongsamba were able to return to school, reconnecting with their classmates and a more normal school life. This reopening mainly concerned students preparing for the final “CEP” exam, while others were assessed based on the average of the 1st and 2nd terms, and therefore did not need to return to school that year.

To ensure everyone’s safety, strict hygiene measures were implemented: maximum of 24 students per class, respect of minimum distancing, wearing masks, hand hygiene and mask changes after each break, ensuring a progressive and safe return to school despite the pandemic.

Monitoring of measures and future perspectives

Students preparing for their final exam are required to comply with these health measures for 4 weeks, ensuring the safety of everyone until the end of classes before the holidays. The school continues to monitor compliance with the rules, raise awareness among students and maintain regular communication with families to guarantee an effective and safe return.

This organization allows students to gradually return to a normal school life, while protecting their health and that of their teachers, until a full return to the usual school routine.

Supervised school reopening, protection and continuity of learning.
